Theory of Operation

46 Stacking Series

The MAC 46 Series is a high flow direct solenoid operated 5-way poppet valve.

It features a short stroke solenoid with oval armature, a balanced poppet and conical seats.

These features translate into high shifting forces, fast consistent response times, high flow in a small package and long life.

• Balanced poppet permits versatility in function -
   may be used as 3-way or 2-way normally open or
normally closed and may be used for vacuum,
   divertor, or selector applications.

• Extremely high cycle rate capability.

• Use on lube or non-lube service.

• Various solenoid enclosures and plug-in
connectors.

• Optional low wattage DC solenoids down to1.8W.

• Rectified AC voltage.
